Amaranth 'Urai'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Planting Urai in loamy soil with a ph of between 5.0 and 7.0 is ideal for as it does best in moderately acidic soil to neutral soil.

Self sowing.seeds are tiny black powdery.

Soil temperature should be kept higher than 15°C / 59°F to ensure good germination.

Prefer porous soils with adequate moisture.can tolerate partial shades during hot days but prefer direct sunlight in mild tropics belonging to zone 12.

Same as in spinach but the use of cutters is recommended for this type has thorns.
