Willowleaf hebe 'Youngii'

Prefers full sun to light shade.

Keep in mind when planting that Youngii is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures.

As Youngii is hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.

This hebe cultivar, or an almost identical one, was sent unnamed by Carl Teschner of Otago, New Zealand in 1960 to Valerie Finnis, UK. The original seedling was found before 1930 in the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, South Island, and named after the Curator.
