How to grow Anise hyssop 'Blue'

Very easy to grow and drought tolerant, once established. Grows well in a variety of soil types.

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Blue is thought of as hardy, so Blue will tend to go dormant or grow slowly over the winter months. Blue needs a loamy, clay and sandy soil with a ph of 6.0 to 7.8 (weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil).

Soil temperature should be kept higher than 16°C / 61°F to ensure good germination.

Transplanting Blue

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Blue is a hardy plant.
