Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Wildung is generally regarded as a very hardy plant, so this plant will tend to go dormant over the long winter months. Wildung needs a soil ph of 6.0 to 7.0 (weakly acidic soil - neutral soil).

Wildung is very hardy, so ensure you wait until all danger of frost has passed in your area before considering planting outside.

Late-season variety; ripens in mid- to late-October.

This variety tends to mature and be ready for harvest in mid autumn.
