Harvest 1/3 of the new, tender foliage in the morning. Dry or freeze extra for future use.

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to apply water fairly sparingly. Keep in mind when planting that Golden is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Ensure your soil is chalky and sandy and has a ph of between 6.6 and 8.5 as Lemon thyme is a weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil loving plant.

Growing Golden from seed

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 9.75 inches (25.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.2 inches (0.5 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 21°C / 70°F to ensure good germination.

Transplanting Golden

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Golden is a hardy plant.
