Will germinate well from fresh seed. Plant in spring after temperatures reach at least 60F, or keep indoors in 60-70F. May also reproduce by cuttings, dividing rhizomes, or by digging offsets.
Gather dry capsules before they split, or bag seed heads. Dried capsules can be crushed to remove seeds. Keep seeds moist in the refrigerator in sand.
