Prefers light well drained soil, and partial shade
Sow the seeds on the surface of the potting mix and do not cover the seed or exclude light. Place the pots in a propergator or seal in a plastic bag for 2-3 weeks at 13-15C. Then place in a refrigerator for 2 weeks afterwards returing them to to the heated propergator or plastic bag at 13 to 15C.
Transplant seedlings into pots when large enough to handle and overwinter in a cold frame or greenhouse. Plant out in the following spring, for flowering in the mid to late summer.
