They don’t need a lot of fertilizer, but will produce more if fed occasionally3. They are moderately hardy, and in fact need some cold to properly set fruit in the next season3. Grow in acidic, well-drained soil.

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Legacy is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Legacy requires a peat-rich soil with a ph of 4.8 - 5.2 - it grows best in moderately acidic soil to weakly acidic soil.
