Melon 'Honey Dew'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Honey Dew is thought of as hardy, so this plant will grow or become dormant during the winter. Planting Honey Dew in potting mix and loamy soil with a ph of between 6.1 and 7.5 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.

Sow at a depth of approx. 0.5 inches (1.27 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 1.88 feet (58.0 cm) between Melon plants. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 21°C / 70°F to ensure good germination.
