Carrot 'Snow White'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Snow White is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to go dormant over the long winter months. Ideally plant in loamy and sandy soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.0 and 6.5 as Snow White likes to be in weakly acidic soil.

Aim to sow 0.23 inches (0.6 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 0.39 inches (1.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 16°C / 61°F to ensure good germination.

By our calculations, you should look at sowing Snow White about 14 days before your last frost date.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Snow White is a very hardy plant.
