Keep in mind when planting that Laura is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Laura requires a loamy and potting mix soil with a ph of 5.6 - 6.0 - it grows best in weakly acidic soil.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 7.8 inches (20.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.25 inches (0.64 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 10°C / 50°F to ensure good germination.
