How to grow Snow Pea 'Slocan'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Slocan is thought of as half hardy, so it will need protecting in periods of cold weather. Try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 5.5 and 6.5 as Slocan likes to be in weakly acidic soil.

Growing Slocan from seed

Aim to sow 0.99 inches (2.54 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 2.97 inches (7.62 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 4°C / 39°F to ensure good germination.
