Sweet pepper 'Diamond'

Plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Diamond is thought of as tender, so it is really important to ensure that the outside temperature is well above freezing before planting or moving outdoors. Diamond needs a potting mix, loamy and silty soil with a ph of 5.5 to 7.5 (weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil).

Look to ensure a distance 0.98 inches (2.5 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.25 inches (0.64 cm) deep. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 20°C / 68°F to ensure good germination.

By our calculations, you should look at sowing Diamond about 60 days before your last frost date.

Ensure that temperatures are mild (minimum night temperatures should be around 13°C / 55°F) and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Diamond is a tender plant.
