How to grow Sweet pepper 'Chervena Chushka'

Seed saving instructions: Peppers will cross pollinate, so separate by at least 500’ or plant in insect-proof cages covered w ith window screen. Select peppers that are ripe, fully colored and show no signs of disease to save for seed. Remove seeds off core and place on a paper plate to dry.

Position in a full sun location and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Chervena Chushka is thought of as tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside. Start seedlings indoors 8 weeks before transplanting. Sow seeds 1/4" deep. Keep soil moist and near 80F. using bottom heat. Peppers may take two weeks to germinate. Transplant outdoors when daytime soils temperatures near 80F and nighttime temps are above 50F.

Sow 0.25 inches (0.64 cm) deep with a guideline distance of 0.98 inches (2.5 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 20°C / 68°F to ensure good germination.
