Chard 'Mangold Witerbi'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Mangold Witerbi is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will survive though longer winters with little or no damage. Mangold Witerbi requires a loamy and clay soil with a ph of 6.1 - 7.5 - it grows best in weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.

Look to ensure a distance 0.39 inches (1.0 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.39 inches (1.0 cm) deep. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 10°C / 50°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Mangold Witerbi is a very hardy plant.
