Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Red Hot is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures.

Growing Red Hot from seed

Lilies are not normally grown from seed as they take many years for the bulb to become large enough to flower. Planting lily seeds would be useful when investigating new colours as the seeds may not always come true to the parent plant.
Lilies can be grown from bulb of setts from the main flowering bulb, or by growing on leaf scales from the bulb, that are attached to a small amount of basal plate tissue

Choose a sunny spot and plant the bulb at least twice its depth. As the shoot grows it may need support

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Red Hot is a hardy plant.
