How to grow Radish 'French Dressing'

  • Full Sun

  • Medium

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that French Dressing is thought of as half hardy, so it will need cloching or fleece protection when the temperature dips. French Dressing needs a loamy, clay and sandy soil with a ph of 5.5 to 6.8 (weakly acidic soil).

Growing French Dressing from seed

Look to ensure a distance 0.98 inches (2.5 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.47 inches (1.2 cm) deep. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 13°C / 55°F to ensure good germination.

By our calculations, you should look at sowing French Dressing about 28 days before your last frost date.

Transplanting French Dressing

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as French Dressing is a half hardy plant.
