Wichita Blue requires a soil ph of 4.5 - 8.5 meaning it does best in moderately acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.Mulch thickly.
Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Wichita Blue is a very hardy plant.
