How to grow Ixora

Ixora

Very easy care tropical shrubs tolerant of neglect. The plant flowers best in full sun but will tolerate a shady position.
Ixora prefer a mildly acidic soil with good drainage.

Keep the soil evenly moist and prune when it gets unruly. Responds very well to shearing and can be used as a small hedge.1

Transplanting Ixora

This plant cannot tolerate alkaline soils and it will show chlorosis if the ph is not slightly acidic.1

As Ixora is tender, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
