African Sunset is generally regarded as a tender plant, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside.

Germinate seed at 72-76°F. Emergence in 4-7 days. Uncovered. Once germinated keep temperature at 65-68°F. Transplant 24-35 days after sowing. Flowers in 55-65 days. PH5.5-6.0.

For optimal germination, soil temperature should be a minimum of 22°C / 72°F.

In the garden, space plants 2.5 feet apart.
