Growing Blue dogbane from seed

on the surface of a peat/sand mix seed compost and gently firm down. Keep the soil damp but not wet and do not exclude light. Place in a propagator or seal the seed tray inside a polythene bag at a temperature of at 13-15C (55-60F) for 2-3 weeks. Move to a refrigerator (not freezer) for 3-6 weeks, after which return the tray to the recommended germination temperature. Keep the compost moist at all times. Germination can be very slow taking from 30-365 days.

Soil temperature should be kept higher than 13°C / 55°F to ensure good germination.
