Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to apply water fairly sparingly. Keep in mind when planting that Fragrant Blue is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to go dormant over the long winter months.

Try to ensure a gap of at least 3.90 feet (1.20 metres) when sowing to prevent overcrowding your seedlings.

Dig hole twice as wide and deep as the pot. Mix one part amendment into native soil. Loosen plants root base and place into ground. Cover loosely, with soil. Use all purpose plant food.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Fragrant Blue is a very hardy plant.
