Cannas grow from a tuber. Tubers can be divided February-March. Cut the tubers into 2-3 in. long pieces containing 1 or 2 “eyes” or growth buds. It can also be grown from seeds.1

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Moulin Bronte is thought of as tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside. Moulin Bronte needs a loamy soil with a ph of 6.0 to 7.5 (weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil).
