Keep moist.
Water freely during dry weather.
Plant in a location that enjoys
full sun and remember to
water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Lilliput is thought of as
tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside. Lilliput requires a
loamy and sandy soil with a ph of
5.5 -
7.0 - it grows best in weakly acidic soil to neutral soil.
Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least
11.7 inches (30.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around
0.25 inches (0.64 cm).
By our calculations, you should look at sowing Lilliput about 21 days before your last frost date.
Sow seeds in sunny location after the danger of spring frost.
Will bloom early and continuously all summer long.
Thin seedlings when they are 2-4 inches in height, with the final spacing of the plants 4-5 inches apart.
Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Lilliput is a tender plant.
