Growing Monsella from seed

Slow to flower from seed, collect small off set bulbs after foliage has died back in late summer

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 3.9 inches (10.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 3.9 inches (10.0 cm).

Transplanting Monsella

Plant out in late autumn to mid winter in pots or the front of flower beds.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Monsella is a hardy plant.
