Tulip 'Monsella'

Tulips do not last many years and are sometimes discarded after flowering

Monsella likes a position of full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Monsella is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures.

Slow to flower from seed, collect small off set bulbs after foliage has died back in late summer

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 3.9 inches (10.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 3.9 inches (10.0 cm).

Plant out in late autumn to mid winter in pots or the front of flower beds.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Monsella is a hardy plant.
