Sweet likes a position of full sun and remember to apply water fairly sparingly. Keep in mind when planting that Sweet is thought of as tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside. Ideally plant in sandy soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.5 and 6.9 as Sweet likes to be in weakly acidic soil.

Surface sow as it needs light to germinate. Prone to damping off.
