Bleu de Solaise likes a position of partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Bleu de Solaise is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions.

Growing Bleu de Solaise from seed

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 0.39 inches (1.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.78 inches (2.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 16°C / 61°F to ensure good germination.

Transplanting Bleu de Solaise

Mke hole with dibber 6 in/15cm deep and place plant into each hole then fill with water. DO NOT FILL HOLE WITH SOIL

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Bleu de Solaise is a very hardy plant.

Harvesting Bleu de Solaise

This variety tends to be ready for harvesting by mid winter.
