Bougainvillea 'San Diego Red'

This plant gets its bracts brighter and plentiful in drought situations. Ideal to grow in a corner of a cyclone fence where it will form a giant mound.

San Diego Red likes a position of full sun and remember to apply water fairly sparingly. Keep in mind when planting that San Diego Red is thought of as tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as San Diego Red is a tender plant.
