Remove spent flowers to promote more blooms

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Whisper Mix is thought of as half hardy, so remember to protect this plant from frosts and low temperatures.

Stat seed inside from late into to early spring. Sow thinly into trays of pre watered compost and firm lightly into the surface. Do not cover the seeds with compost as they need light to germinate.. Cover the tray with a sheet of glass or perspex or clingfilm and keep at 15 to 20C

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 11.7 inches (30.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.0 inches (0.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 15°C / 59°F to ensure good germination.

Thin the seedlings when they are the two to four leaf stagey potting on individually to at 5cm intervals in further trays.
Grow on in cooler conditions and harden off after all risk of frost has past.
Plant out 30 cm between plants

Ensure that temperatures are mild (minimum night temperatures should be around 15°C / 59°F) and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Whisper Mix is a half hardy plant.
