Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Brompton Mixed is thought of as half hardy, so remember to protect this plant from frosts and low temperatures.

Sow three seeds in a 7cm pot in mid summer and grow on in a sheltered position. Pot on as plants mature

Soil temperature should be kept higher than 18°C / 64°F to ensure good germination.

Plant out in final flowering position at a mid position in the border in the late summer or autumn

Ensure that temperatures are mild (minimum night temperatures should be around -5°C / 23°F) and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Brompton Mixed is a half hardy plant.
