How to grow Chinese Forget-me-not 'Firmament'

A full sun position will ensure your plant thrives and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Firmament is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Ensure your soil has a ph of between 6.0 and 7.0 as Firmament is a weakly acidic soil - neutral soil loving plant.

Growing Firmament from seed

The optimal temperature range for germination is around 21°C (70°F), but seeds can be sown outdoors as early as the ground can be worked.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 9.75 inches (25.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.25 inches (0.64 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 18°C / 64°F to ensure good germination.
