Lima bean 'Henderson'

A full sun position will ensure your plant thrives and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Henderson is thought of as tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside. Henderson tends to grow best in a soil ph of between 6.6 and 7.5 meaning it does best in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 1.95 feet (60.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.78 inches (2.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 10°C / 50°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Henderson is a tender plant.
