Runner bean 'Lingua di fuoco'

Thin to one plant every six inches. Sow from April to June.

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Lingua di fuoco is generally regarded as a tender plant, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 7.8 inches (20.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 1.95 inches (5.0 cm).

Lingua di fuoco is tender, so ensure you wait until all danger of frost has passed in your area before considering planting outside.

Harvest when beans are plump and pods have a nice red and white color.
