Keep in mind when planting that Night Owl is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Night Owl requires a loamy soil with a ph of 4.5 - 8.0 - it grows best in moderately acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 3.96 feet (1.22 metres) and sow at a depth of around 0.25 inches (0.64 cm).
