How to grow Rose 'Charlotte'

  • Partial Sun

  • Medium

Susceptible to blackspot and to mildew. Can be grown in the ground or in a container. 1

A partial sun position will ensure your plant thrives and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Charlotte is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Planting Charlotte in loamy soil with a ph of between 5.5 and 6.5 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil.

Growing Charlotte from seed

Hybrid variety. Will not reliably grow true to type from seed.

Transplanting Charlotte

As Charlotte is hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
