Rose 'Erotica'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Erotica is thought of as hardy, so it can be safe to leave outdoors for the majority of winter (although if in doubt, using a row cover is often a good idea). Planting Erotica in loamy soil with a ph of between 6.0 and 7.0 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil to neutral soil.

Requires spring freeze protection with mulching then colder than zone 6.

As Erotica is hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.

Bred by Mathias Tantau, Jr. (1912 – 2006) (Germany, 1968).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Wheatcroft in 1969 as ‘Erotika’.
