The variety successfully propagates from
softwood cuttings and is suitable for year round production in commercial
glasshouses.
Try to plant in a location that enjoys
partial sun and remember to
water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Sonja Parade is thought of as
hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Planting Sonja Parade in
loamy soil with a ph of between
5.5 and
7.0 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil to neutral soil.
As a hybrid variety, this plant will not reliably grow true to type from seed.
As Sonja Parade is hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
