Can be used for garden, hedge or shrub. Very hardy. drought resistant. shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Prune after flowering is finished. Remove unproductive wood every third year or so. This rose blooms on old wood. 1

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Gallicandy is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to go dormant over the long winter months. Planting Gallicandy in loamy soil with a ph of between 5.5 and 7.0 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil to neutral soil.
