How to grow Rose 'Jeanne d'Arc'

  • Partial Sun

  • Medium

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Jeanne d'Arc is thought of as hardy, so it can be safe to leave outdoors for the majority of winter (although if in doubt, using a row cover is often a good idea). Ideally plant in loamy soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 5.5 and 7.0 as Jeanne d'Arc likes to be in weakly acidic soil to neutral soil.

Growing Jeanne d'Arc from seed

Hybrid variety. Will not reliably grow true to type from seed.

Transplanting Jeanne d'Arc

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Jeanne d'Arc is a hardy plant.

The name ‘Rosa alba var. albamedia’ is included here as a synonym simply so that this wiki can be found if the rose should be searched for by that name.
