How to grow Rose 'Queen of Sweden'

  • Full Sun

  • Medium

Roses need feeding as they start into growth and again after the first flush of flowers. They are pruned when dormant in the winter or very early spring. Remove crossing, diseased or dead branches and shorten the rest by about a half to a third

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Queen of Sweden is thought of as hardy, so this plant will grow or become dormant during the winter. Ideally plant in loamy soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 5.5 and 7.0 as Queen of Sweden likes to be in weakly acidic soil to neutral soil.

Growing Queen of Sweden from seed

Transplanting Queen of Sweden
