Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that City of London is thought of as hardy, so this plant will grow or become dormant during the winter. Ideally plant in loamy soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 5.5 and 7.0 as City of London likes to be in weakly acidic soil to neutral soil.

Hybrid variety. Will not reliably grow true to type from seed.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as City of London is a hardy plant.
