How to grow Rose 'Heritage'

Ideally roses should be planted in groups of three of the same variety, if the space is available. This will give the appearance of a dense bush. They should be planted 18" or 45cm apart. Any other plants should be away from the roses by 3 ft. or 90cm. If planting roses in hedges they should be planted 18" apart or 45cm for maximum effect.3

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Heritage is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Heritage requires a loamy soil with a ph of 5.5 - 7.0 - it grows best in weakly acidic soil to neutral soil.

Growing Heritage from seed

As a hybrid variety, this plant will not reliably grow true to type from seed.

Transplanting Heritage

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Heritage is a hardy plant.
