How to grow Rose 'Silver Lining'

  • Partial Sun

  • Medium

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Silver Lining is thought of as hardy, so it can be safe to leave outdoors for the majority of winter (although if in doubt, using a row cover is often a good idea). Ideally plant in loamy soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 5.5 and 6.5 as Silver Lining likes to be in weakly acidic soil.

Growing Silver Lining from seed

Aim to sow 0.25 inches (0.64 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 3.96 feet (1.22 metres).

By our calculations, you should look at sowing Silver Lining about 35 days before your last frost date.

Transplanting Silver Lining

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Silver Lining is a hardy plant.
