Rose Glow is a variety of Japanese barberry which is a member of the Barberry family. Its botanical name is Berberis thunbergii 'Rose Glow'. Rose Glow is a variety of OP Japanese barberry . Blooms normally display as a colour very similar to   Banana yellow. When mature, blooms are roughly 1.0 cm (that's 0.39 inches in imperial) in diameter.The mature flowers take a Single form, with an approximate petal count of 5. Its fruits normally ripen as a colour very similar to   Boston University Red. Leaves usually appear in   Pansy purple and   Charm pink colour.

This shrub is mainly grown for its colorful variegated foliage and fall color.

A dense deciduous shrub. First leaves are purple and then new shoots are a rose-pink with blotches of purple and bronze colors. About April – May it produces very small yellow flowers which are hidden by the foliage. By fall red berries form which last all winter long and are attractive to birds.1

This variety is an Ornamental that typically grows as an Evergreen, which is defined as a plant that retains leaves throughout the year. Rose Glow is known for growing with a shrub-like habit to a height of approximately 1.50 metres (that's 4.88 feet in imperial). This variety tends to bloom in early spring.
