Err on the dry side with the watering…(if in doubt: wait to water.) This is a True Cactus, but a “Rainforest Cactus.” Overwatering will quickly rot the plant. Soil mixtures should be well draining.
Feed lightly.
Do NOT expose to freezing temps.
