Growing Champion red top from seed

Sow late spring early summer and thin plants as they grow to 12cm at 4 weeks, Harvest alternate roots allowing larger plants to develop into the autumn

Look to ensure a distance 1.95 inches (5.0 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.2 inches (0.5 cm) deep. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 5°C / 41°F to ensure good germination.
