How to grow Russian Sage

Perovskia atriplicifolia

Plant blooms on “old wood.” Take stem cuttings of about about 6 inches in summer to increase your perovskia plantings. Prune hard, to 6 to 10 inches, in the dead of winter while plant is dormant. Do NOT prune at other times or you will sacrifice blossoms.
