Creeping Phlox 'Blue ridge'

Phlox stolonifera

How to grow Creeping Phlox 'Blue ridge'

  • Partial Sun

  • Low

Plant with daffodils etc and it will light up a corner for 2 months. Then clip it. It will stay green. It likes a moist humus soil but somehow it has survived in my dry shade boxes with a little help from the water hose. The growers tag recommends partial shade but it survives in dappled and high shade.

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to apply water fairly sparingly. Keep in mind when planting that Blue ridge is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions.
