Bunching onion 'Winterhecke'

Position in a full sun location and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Winterhecke is thought of as hardy, so Winterhecke will tend to go dormant or grow slowly over the winter months. Ensure your soil is loamy and sandy and has a ph of between 6.0 and 7.0 as Bunching onion is a weakly acidic soil to neutral soil loving plant.

Look to ensure a distance 3.9 inches (10.0 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.23 inches (0.6 cm) deep. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 13°C / 55°F to ensure good germination.
