Basil 'Sacred'

A full sun position will ensure your plant thrives and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Sacred is thought of as tender, so it is imperative to wait until temperatures are mild before planting out of doors. Sacred needs a loamy, sandy and silty soil with a ph of 5.5 to 7.0 (weakly acidic soil to neutral soil).

Ensure a distance of 0.5 inches (1.27 cm) between seeds when sowing - look to sow at a depth of approximately 0.12 inches (0.3 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 10°C / 50°F to ensure good germination.

By our calculations, you should look at sowing Sacred about 20 days before your last frost date.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Sacred is a tender plant.
